I'll try to explain the meaning but it's a bit convoluted.

The heart = me
The Ocean within the heart = the sea of emotions that are constantly brewing and weighing so heavy in my soul.
The double edged sword= The blade of the decisions I have had to make over the course of my life. To gain what is needed I have had to give up what often meant a great deal to me. Often having to lose what was so important to me in order to do "the right thing".
The flowers= the hope that there is sunshine and happiness in the end.
The A's - you see them on the lateral aspects of the vine work if you know to look = They represent my daughters Ashley and Alyesse who I love sooo much.
The tear drop at the base of the blade - You don't see it yet. My son who died before I could ever hold him.
The green vine or scroll work- The tie that binds my life and those of my family together.
The 3 stones at the base of the Dagger. Lane, Ashley and Alyesse.

There how's that for my tat story. LOL
