Myrtle Beach Week 2008 May 9 - 18 Us 14 - 18

Red and I are tentatively planning this trip for next May.

Leave DFW on the Sat May 10.
- Take 5 days to get to Mrytle Beach.
- Winona, MS Stop for the night
- Cleveland, TN Stop for the night
- Ashville, NC Stop for the night
- Charleston, SC Stop for the night
- Myrtle Beach 4 nights
- Back home to DFW in 2 days @ 600 miles a day.
- Back Home Monday night May 19.

This ride will take you on some of the Natchez Trace, Smoky Mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway, and along the beaches.

The big benefit will be hopefully meeting some of the Southeast crew that we haven't been able to meet yet.

Anyone interested?
Any must do's along the way or in MB?
Any great cheap place in the mddle of the action to stay in MB?
Any opinion in the Waikiki Village Motel? They seem to have a good deal to me. Cheap, clean, and right in the middle of the action.

Myrtle Beach spring rally is on my schedule for next year. So far there are at least half a dozen of us riding down from Canada.

Gzr if you stop in Asheville,NC you need to go see the Biltmore House. It is awesome! IF you want a great place to stay in MB that is cheap you could stay at the MB State Campground, or any of the various hotels. Hotels in MB will range from $175 a night and up with the average being about $225 a night. Definitely let us know if you do come over this way and we will show ya around! 8)

Great even more reason to make this happen. Meet the many of the Southeast group as well as Canadian group.

Being born and raised in Mississippi, I still stand for Dixie. You won't have to train, maybe remind me of a few things but not train me.

Sounds like an awesome plan to me. The lights will be on and the beer will be cold in Cleveland TN. Looks like you will be arriving 1 to 2 days after our Daughters wedding. No doubt we will be in need of some stress relief at that point.

I got stressed enough over Son's getting married. I can't imagine Daughters. Good Luck with it!!

I am loving this plan so far myself. Myrtle Beach Bike Week should be a blast.
