Marvin Felkins drove from Jenks to Muskogee Friday afternoon to honor soldiers who are prisoners of war and missing in action.
The annual POW-MIA remembrance ceremony was held at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center. Felkins, 61, is a member of a national motorcycle club named Rolling Thunder, which he said was founded to bring attention to the POW-MIA issue. “The fact that we should never forget the people who were called to serve this country, who made the ultimate sacrifice, and have not found their way home, as well as those who are still living and are unaccounted for,” he said. Felkins said he has family ties to the POW-MIA issue. Click here to read the rest of the story. Cheers, Speed |
