Harley crash leaves motorcyclist hospitalized

BATAVIA, Ill. (STNG) -- A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in west suburban Batavia on Tuesday morning.

About 5:30 a.m. a person riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed at the intersection of Kirk Road and Wind Energy Pass, according to a spokeswoman for the Batavia police.

The injured cyclist was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, according to a Batavia Fire Department battalion chief, who did not have information on the cyclist's condition.

Police would not release additional details as of late Tuesday morning.
