A Different Kind Of Wedding

COLUMBIA - A wedding not in a church and the bride not in a white dress, it's obviously not your normal summer wedding.

New Bloomfield residents Larry and Lish Alderson came to Columbia Saturday to join in matrimony in what most would call not your typical classic American wedding.

They call it a Harley-Davidson wedding, the ceremony held at the Mid America Harley-Davidson showroom. After all, the Harley drove them together and remains the nuts and bolts of the relationship.

"The first night we met it was because of the bike, we went for a ride," Lish Alderson said.

"And pretty much the rest is history," Larry Alderson finished after her.
