RED FEATHER LAKES - A Larimer County man says some hungry bears took a bite out of something you wouldn't normally find in their diet Tuesday night.
Glenn Wells is used to seeing wildlife near his home, but it is what It is one of the things he loves about it. "It is a great place to live. We see a lot of moose, lots of deer, rabbits and coyotes," said Wells. He has also seen black bears. In fact they are so common to the area the street Wells lives on is named Weda Court, which he says in the Shoshone Indian language means, black bear. One night this week, the street lived up to its name. Wells and his wife had taken his 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle out to get a pizza for dinner. They put the leftovers in the tour pack on the back of the motorcycle for the ride home. Click here to read the rest of the story. Cheers, Speed |
