Default Ismael

Ismael "Ish" Schmidt left us on Thursday, July 1st, 2010.

He was loved and cheerished by so many.

For all of you who knew him, I just wanted to let you know.

For Ish's memorial and those who can not make it on Friday, hold up a beer, tell a story that you know puts on that smile and remember him for the man he was, Mr. Ismael Schmidt!

WOW! I like most here have dozens of stories/memories of Ish, he was a very good man, and will be dearly missed. Thanks so much for posting this information. All of our thoughts, and Prayers go out to his Family.......If it's possible can you give more information. I know he had heart issues. Sincerely Mike & Sherrie

Hard to even believe I'm reading this. I hope the OP will come back & post up the relevant information regarding a memorial service so the hundreds of friends Ish had can say their goodbyes.

RIP & Ride Free Ish

Mike, he suffered from "Cardiac dysrhythmia (also known as arrhythmia) is a term for any of a large and heterogeneous group of conditions in which there is abnormal electrical activity in the heart. The heart beat may be too fast or too slow, and may be regular or irregular. Last year, September 7, 2009, he had a sudden cardiac arrest due to the electrical work of his heart. This time, we just where not as lucky.

The memorial is Friday at 5:00 p.m. - Exit 73 Bar and Grill. If anyone would like to come and needs anything, just let me know. Our home is open, he wouldn't want it any other way!

Thanks for the picture Big Red, I will print it out for the board at the memorial. It is so Ish.......

I sure hate to hear this. He was such a good and nice person. Glad he came by Mike and Charlotte's last Labor Day so I could have that memory.

Thanks for the update on the memorial. I know there are a number of people who had no idea of his passing that I will let know of the memorial.

So very sad ...

You guys where all his friends - riding just got a little tough the last year. He loved every one of one of you. Funny - he might not have said it out loud, but he loved you all. We where really sorry we could not make the last hill country run....
