40 Harley Davidson Go On Sungkai Ride

Bandar Seri Begawan - You might have heard the roar of motorcycle engines along the Tungku Link highway last Saturday, and was amazed to see a sight of more than 40 Harley Davidson motorcycles being ridden towards Gadong.
The entourage in fact consisted of members from the Harley Owners Group Brunei (HOGB) chapter, on their sungkai ride, from the Harley Davidson dealership in Lambak industrial area on the way to The Arch in Gadong. The sungkai ride was organised by the HOGB chapter working committee, who are stepping up efforts to contribute to the community by organising fundraising activities for orphans in the country. The chapter members had a fulfilling buffet of good food and later in the evening, members were briefed regarding future events being organised by their chapter - among them, the Labuan Hari Raya Ride, Brunei Hari Raya Ride, as well as other upcoming events.

The ride was a success and the working committee is looking forward to organising another one next year in the hope of it becoming an annual event. HOGB thanked Harley Davidson of Brunei as well as members of their chapter for their continuous support throughout the years since its establishment in 2007.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
