Nice to meet you...

For myself, it had nothing to do with any mechanical stats, or what others had to say.. I tried 2 other 'name brand' bikes, went for a HD Demo ride & that was it.... Same as my trucks.. tried 'other brands' but settled for the ones that had what I needed, & made me feel good...

The Deluxe fit me like it had been made for me. It makes me Feel, like nothing else.

It's all about how I feel....& this bike, is it.

Not to my knowledge there aren't any sportbike songs no. I have to say that the Busa has drawn lots of attention as well, though maybe not exactly in the same way. I don't think I have ever had anyone hate on it either, from any camp. I have found many many harley guys dig on the bike. People are drawn to it. That being said many dumbnut kids that have never ridden any bike, much less a best like todays sportbikes, run out and buy one and trash it or waste themselves. Sad situation. Smaller cc sportbikes can be great learners. They have the performance, ie handling, brakes. Its all about the self control. Even the 600's nowadays are crazy fast, and light as all hell. It makes you feel like superman to twist the throttle and hit 150 mph(indicated) in third gear. Hell it does 80(also indicated) in first. I haven't ridden a 2nd gen Busa but I'm sure its a blast also. Lots more refined I hear. I'm a big boy so its Busa or zx-14 for me. Not a kawasaki fan though. I look ridiculous on the liter bikes, though they are fun to ride, but way uncomfortable to my 6'2 250 lb frame.

Bottom line to me is as long as your riding and not hating your a good guy in my book.

Keep the rubber side down.
