The second half of my military career was in the Air Force, and part of it was as a forward air controller. We were working with some A-10’s in the desert one day that I’ll never forget. I watched as one of them rolled up and over a hill I was on so low I could just about see the smile on the pilots face as he opened up on the target. All I could do was just stand there in awe at the destruction unleashed from one aircraft as he proceeded to “vaporize” the target. :shock:
