Default battery ground

ok question for you guys. 2004 fxdwgi started throwing error code(s). this am got ready to go to work and .click...lost all juice. checked all fuses they were ok. pulled seat and opened battery box and examined connections. all looked good but ground was not exactly tight. tightened everything down and power was back.

here's the question.. do you think a loose ground on the battery could have been the cause for the error codes?

thanks wrecker...i guess it was just tight enough that the bike would start and run but would jiggle at speed so that it was not completely grounded. then with vibration it finnally got loose enough that it lost all connection

Wrecker is right, a loose ground will play havoc with an injected bike.
