Default CSS - HTML

Learn it upfront yourself or buy a cool template to create your website with & learn if from there?

:???:

I've already found out that "forms" per se are not only a pain in the ass -- they just dont look as cool as the templates I see online for sale. Nothing fancy - no flash, etc.

Strictly to load/link my photoshows to. And in a blog-like manner tell a little story about our trips.

I bought the same slideshow application that Elly has so I can add music to the shows now. And just wanted a place to load them too that looked worth a damn. Getting to the 'worth a damn' stage either takes a ton of time or a lot of $$$

Find a hosting provider that supports Word Press. WP will do everything you want to do and there are a bazillion free themes and plugins for it to make it suite your taste.

The main Word Press site is here.

I'll have to read through that one. I've already signed up with bravenet like Elly has. They were the most affordable to try & learn all the coding & having somewhere to actually upload my unbelievably 1st grade attempts at HTML to. LOL! I'm pretty sure they support WordPress.

Thanks!

Hey girl
My daughter knows coding and she can design you a site and you would just have to do the up keep. Let me know what you are looking for and between me and her we can get something together for you. I just made mine real basic with links to my slide shows. I am in the process of making it look different.
Give me a call and we can talk.

Here is a couple of sites that she designed. She did all the coding for both sites.

Barnett Jr High She did the index page and someone else did all the other pages.

Mochalux
She did pretty much all of this site except some of the graphics.

She knew it was spelled wrong lmao. She said she has been trying not to go there for a bit because the owner keep badgering her about running his site. She did that one for free to get a portfolio together lol. And now he wants to have her keep it up for free and she said no way lol.

Thanks Elly. I'll have to think about the "what I want it to be" portion just a hair. I can pull together some templates that I've been eye-balling & drop ya a note with what my thoughts were on how I'd like it to look & see if maybe we could work something out
