Default Re-sizing pics

I know the machine will resize pics but I can't remember how. we have Windows XP. Any help would be appreacied Also I was wondering if I can re-size them for an Avtar? Thanks in advance.

Thumbsplus program will do just about anything you need to do to pictures.

If you right click on the image you will get an option of resize, if your puter has that capability. If not you can get ot under Window's power tools (I think) I'll see if I can find a link.

Thanks for the links, I don't have right click options for resizing but I know the systems will do it. A few years ago I did it for another site, I just can't remember how. I'm a little nervoues about rootong around in the systems. Well what the hell, whats the worst that can happen. I'll keep on trying. Thanks again.
