Default Re: advice on rebuild

I had a 95" SE kit with high top pistons, SE heads that I sent out to be flowed for $400, a set of S&S 570G cams, Barnett clutch and Rinehart True Duals on it that made 110HP, 110 pounds of torque and was bullet proof.

I racked up a lot of miles on that bike and Ram will tell you it was a very nice build. The engine ended up in my uncle's bike and he beat the shit out of it too with no problems.

You can pick up the SE big bore kits and heads for a song and a dance from HD dealers these days - especially those who are hurting for sales.

With 52000 miles you may want to think about crank bearings before putting additional stress on them.

Good luck with your build.

Cheers,

Speed
